Free Training for Youth at Khulisa ICT Academy

Promising students in South Africa have an exciting new opportunity to obtain greater, more in-depth experiences in high performance computing (HPC) through the  Khulisa ICT Academy, a partnership between the South African Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the Center for High Performance Computing (CHPC), and technology group, Dell Computers. Located in Bryanston, north of Johannesburg, Khulisa is a High Performance Computing Programme, which was launched by Dell South Africa in January 2016 to up-skill previously disadvantaged young people who have a flair for IT – with the goal of making them work-ready and highly employable.

This 2 year programme is an end to end development solution partially delivered by the academy and various training providers. To allow the students to concentrate on their education and future professions, each will receive a stipend for the duration of their time at the academy. Upon graduation, these rising HPC stars will be ready to enter into careers in any number of industries.

If you are a successful applicant, Khulisa will provide you with the training. mentorship and expertise to become sought-after in the IT industry, as well as the confidence and knowledge you need to tackle the entrepreneurial world. FOR RECENT MATRICULANTS OR CURRENT MATRIC STUDENTS:
